As head of design at Braun, the German consumer electronics manufacturer, Dieter Rams emerged as one of the most influential industrial designers of the late 20th century by defining an elegant, legible, yet rigorous visual language for its products. The exhibition will showcase Rams’ landmark designs for Braun and furniture manufacturer Vitsœ, examine how Rams’ design ethos inspired Braun’s entire product range for over 40 years, and assess his lasting influence on today’s design landscape.

Exhibition of Elisabeth Arkhipoff:
The second exhibition of the new parisian art gallery, "12MAIL", proposes the « Sport Hit Paradise » by the illustrator Elisabeth Arkhipoff who produces a lot for music (M83, Medhi, Hell, Dirty) and fashion (Anna Sui, Swarovski...).

The concept : Elisabeth Arkhipoff and Guillaume Sorge booked 10 musicians to work each on one exclusive track for this exhibition. ( For my Own, the compilation is more than good)
Elisabeth gave a title and a mood for each track et will present creations inspired by these songs which will be the first album of a fantasy band named Sport Hit Paradise.
The record will be edited in 300 numbered unities and will be listened during the exhibition.

Musicians : Munk, Villeneuve, Discodeine, Satanicpornocultshop, Ricky Hollywood, In Flagranti, Henning Specht, Baris K, Davide Balula, Gavin Russom.

Respite (2007, 40 min) resurrects footage shot by Rudolf Breslauer, an inmate of a Dutch transit camp for Jews during the second world war. The images we see of incoming and outgoing trains, prisoners being processed and daily camp life are set to Farocki’s silent intertitle commentary.
The screening is followed by a conversation between Farocki and Georges Didi-Huberman.

En résumé, en français:
Depuis tout jeune, Melvil se met en scène et filme.
Hier soir, étaient présentés 3 de ses courts: "Qui es-tu Johnny Mac?", "3 jours" et "Rémi".
J'avoue ne pas savoir quoi en dire. Peut-être simplement parce que Melvil non plus...
"Rémi" clin d'oeil de l'expérience "Rohmérienne" retient l'attention malheureusement la pertinence du propos de Melvil, après projection, a du croiser des amis au pub du coin mais n'est toujours pas arrivée...d'ailleurs on ne l'attend plus.Dommage.
Melvil est beau et complètement perdu. Pourquoi cet évènement?

MAIS, 2eme partie de soirée Ô joie: "La fabrique de Conte d'été" ( Making off du film ). Un cadeau pour les amoureux du style et j'en suis. 90 min de lascif bonheur où l'on suit l'enfant au regard avide de belles choses courir dans sa cour de jeux.Jusqu'au bout.
Je quitte la salle le pas trainant, sourire aux lèvres, épuisée de satisfaction.
